The shelter operates under a "No-kill" policy, whereby only those dogs or cats assessed to be either a danger or having an illness that would affect its quality of life are euthanased. Council seeks to rehouse the dogs and cats at its Animal Shelter. All dogs and cats rehoused are DESEXED, lifetime registered, vaccinated and microchipped.
